Things to Do

There are so many things to do in Concord, it's hard to list them all. Many residents enjoy Market Days. The Farmers Market closes Capitol Street and nearby intersections so neighbors can mingle and make their way through the many booths to discover fresh produce and local handmade goods. 
 
The Multicultural Festival takes place every September in Keach Park. An International Flag Parade, live dancing and music, and other performances take precedence. Capital Arts Fest also takes place in September. A fine arts and crafts fair fills the streets while food vendors and live performers also participate. 
 
In the winter season, you can witness the Christmas tree lighting or participate in the Winter Festival. There is also Midnight Merriment, where patrons can shop downtown and enjoy the lights and sounds of the holidays. Cocoa and s'mores are often served. In the spring, there's the Governor's Easter Egg Hunt, and the Halloween Howl takes place in the fall. There's truly no shortage of things to do in this city.
